How to use the autoclave?
1 Add an appropriate amount of water to the outer pot, put the items to be disinfected into the inner pot, cover the pot and tighten the screws symmetrically.
2 Heat to generate steam in the pot. When the pointer of the pressure gauge reaches 33.78kPa, open the exhaust valve to discharge cold air. At this time, the pointer of the pressure gauge drops. When the pointer drops to zero, close the exhaust valve.
3 Continue heating, the steam in the pot increases, and the pointer of the pressure gauge rises again. When the pressure in the pot increases to the required pressure, reduce the firepower. According to the characteristics of the items to be sterilized, the steam pressure is maintained at the required pressure for a certain period of time. Then cut off the power or fire of the sterilizer to allow it to cool naturally, then slowly open the exhaust valve to remove the remaining air, and open the lid to take away the items.
Precautions for using autoclave:
a The items to be sterilized should not be placed too tightly;
b. The cold air must be fully discharged, otherwise the temperature in the pot will not reach the specified temperature, which will affect the sterilization effect;
c After the sterilization is completed, do not exhaust and reduce pressure, otherwise the liquid in the bottle will boil violently, rush out of the cork and overflow, or even cause the container to rupture. The lid can only be opened after the pressure in the sterilizer drops to equal to atmospheric pressure;
d There is a high-pressure steam sterilizer automatically controlled by a microcomputer. After releasing the cold air, the instrument can automatically keep constant pressure timing. When the time is up, the power will be automatically cut off and the whistle will sound, which is very convenient to use.
