Safe use of autoclave
Autoclaving is a commonly used method of sterilization in laboratories.
Autoclaving is a commonly used method of sterilization in laboratories. Apply a pressure of 100Mpa-1000Mpa to the items to be sterilized for a period of time, and use high pressure to inactivate the bacteria, thereby killing the microorganisms in the items. Autoclaves are widely used in the sterilization of equipment, dressings, utensils, liquid medicines, culture media and other items in institutions of higher learning, medical and health, food chemical industry, biological research and other units.
High-pressure sterilizers can be divided into three types: portable, vertical and horizontal according to their different capacities. Today, I will introduce some precautions for the safe use of autoclave. I hope it will be helpful to you.
1. Strict factory inspection
The autoclave needs to go through various inspections, adjustments and tests before leaving the factory, and each technical index needs to meet the requirements of the design. In the usual use of painting elevators, we must also pay attention to accurate maintenance.
2. The maintenance required for the autoclave every month
During maintenance of the autoclave, lubricating oil must be added to these parts to be inspected to extend its service life.
Precautions for the operation of autoclave:
1. Use a pipette to add liquid, and pipette tips cannot be mixed.
2. The washing plate should be clean to avoid cross-contamination.
3. Strictly follow the instructions of the kit, and the reaction time is accurate. The autoclave series products are fast and reliable disinfection and sterilization equipment using pressure saturated steam. They are suitable for sterilization of medical equipment, dressings, glassware, hydroponics, etc. in medical and health institutions, scientific research, agriculture and other units, and are ideal equipment.
D. Do not spill samples or reagents on the surface or inside of the instrument and equipment, and pay attention to cleaning.
E. Do not turn off the power during the measurement.
F. For the deviation of the measurement result caused by the problem of the kit, the parameters should be modified in time according to the actual situation to achieve the best effect. The autoclave is suitable for medical and health, scientific research, agriculture and other units to sterilize medical equipment, dressings, glassware, hydroponics, etc. It is an ideal sterilization equipment. Portable autoclave is the necessary inspection equipment for QS and HACCP certification for food factories and drinking water factories.
